Our club member Peter Stransky introduced to Royal Fremantle Golf Club his new wind resistant umbrellas (Finbrella) which we trialled at this year’s 2015 WA Open Golf Championship.

With winds gusting up to 25 knots over most of the four day event the two Finbrellas

(adjacent to the 1^st and 10^th tees) provided both sun and rain protection together with seemingly effortless wind resistance.

We are pleased to consider these simple and robust shade structures as part of our future members’ amenities.
